We found these silly sisters asleep in our bed one night. Kate likes to leave me love notes on my pillow and then curl up in the chair in our room to sleep.
I hosted the dessert portion of a progressive dinner for the ladies in our church. I've never seen so much dessert!
We had plenty of Santa sightings!
The girls finished off their dance class with a performance of Susie Snowflake.
We decorated gingerbread houses, went to Disneyland, made treats for neighbors and lounged around in our Christmas socks.
We traveled to Colorado for Christmas with the Tanner family and got to spend a few days in Winter Park, CO. The girls had their first skiing experience and called it a success--despite them walking like turtles in ski boots-- they loved it.
In Denver we went to a performance of the Nutcracker, played a lot of rock band, did crafts, were excited by snow and played the piano.
Christmas Eve was celebrated bowling, visiting great grammy and grandpa and dinner at Cheesecake factory for Rachel's birthday. We acted out the nativity and had a very enthusiastic Mary and Angel. Baby Will was not so excited to portray the king.
Christmas morning was filled with magic, merriment and surprises. The girls loved every minute and it was a lot of fun to watch them. The adults also had plenty of fun opening generous gifts and feasting. It was a wonderful holiday and fun to see family we don't get to see often enough.
