Palm Springs

We had a fun weekend in Palm Springs.

Playing with body crayons at the pool.

Smiling with cousins.

Napping on lounge chairs.

And then Kate stepped on a hill of big black ants.

They weren't very friendly!

Central Park

We took a last-minute outing to Central Park yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the gorgeous summer weather. We stumbled upon an outdoor marionette show, sat next to Chris Rock at the playground (it's weird when you see celebrities and think, "hey, I know that person" and then realize why), ate really good pizza, listened to street performers, watched the rowboats in the lake and reminisced as we walked through our old neighborhood. It was a little sad to think this may be our last time to visit the city before we move west...

I had to get that minivan post out of the top spot on our blog! We are still debating cars... although I don't think we're ready to take the minivan plunge just yet. But sweet Gwen girl--does it really get better than this smile? A few things about her: She's started giggling. I love it. And talking--a lot. She coos all day. And her eyes... can two brown eyed parents make a blue eyed baby? We'll see!
