We started November out with a road trip to Arizona to celebrate Grammy Tanner's life at her funeral. We love Grammy Tanner and her optimism. She was always smiling and had nice things to say. You always felt loved when you were with her. We are happy she is reunited with her sweetheart. Before her funeral services we were lucky to have a VIP tour and donut making at Krispy Kreme! We made apple fritters and the girls made cream filled donuts with chocolate icing.
It was fun to spend time with family. We left Clara home with Mimi and Papa and are missing a few other cousins.
A sweet moment watching three sisters play together outside.
Taking in a gorgeous day with a walk on HB Pier.
Celebrating Leah's 8th birthday!
A quick trip to Santa Barbara to catch up with the Nelson family. We went to the zoo, the park, the beach and out for ice cream. We love catching up with these dear friends. The kids had a blast and ended up going in the cold ocean water fully clothed. Kate said "It's called being spontaneous, Mom!"
Mimi and Papa hosted a beautiful and delicious Thanksgiving dinner.
After some black friday shopping, we headed out for a cultural adventure to Tijuana Mexico to walk through the new temple open house. It is a beautiful temple amidst a run down city. It was a special experience to be in the celestial room with the girls. I'm so thankful we get to be a family forever.
Playing in the leaves of Jan's 40 foot maple tree is always a highlight in November.
Decorating the tree and signs of Christmas! The girls were very anxious to get out the decorations and make the house festive.
A visit with Santa Claus at California Adventure. Santa told Paul if he didn't get in the picture he may get put on the naughty list.
Cute girls in their Christmas dresses.
