Over the Thanksgiving holiday we got the chance to drive up to Santa Barbara to visit our good friends, the Nelsons, while they were in town from Seattle. Santa Barbara is one of my favorite spots in all of California--it is beautiful there! It was really great to see our friends and the day was gorgeous.
Their boys are each just a few months older than Kate and Gwen and both so sweet. Kate and Tanner have met just once before, but were instant buddies on the playground and at the restaurant. It is becoming a common theme with a lot of our friends because we have moved so much, but we wish they lived closer!

I don't care if you can't have a New England Fall if it means a Santa Barbara Thanksgiving!! :) WOW... it looks beautiful. And Kate looks so grown up. Will you guys be in Utah at all over the break? If you are, we'd love to see you. We miss Kate's smile so much! Looks like you are having a great time with family. We miss you here, but are so glad you can be in such a wonderful place.
