Was a beautiful 70 degrees! We took a drive down PCH in Newport Beach and ran into a Santa motorcycle brigade. We stopped at the store to buy my Christmas gift (a new sectional! yeah!), ate some Wahoo's fish tacos and took the girls for a ride on Santa's train.
That evening my parents hosted their annual family Christmas party. It was a big group and a lot of fun. We brought back some old traditions of singing the 12 days of Christmas and having the kids act out the nativity scene--it was really sweet.
The evening ended with cousins matching Christmas pj's and the chaos of so many kids opening gifts. Our kids couldn't stand the anticipation of Santa Claus and waited up in their room until 10:30pm! Finally they crashed and he came :)
