We are proud of Kate and her decision to be baptized! It was a special weekend spent with family and friends and Kate seemed so happy. She has been preparing for her baptism this past year by listening to and reading the Book of Mormon. She finished before her baptism and it was a sweet experience reading the last few chapters together.
Kate had all of her grandparents there and lots of extended family and friends. Kate is loved by many people! It was a great program and Kate sang a solo "I'm trying to be like Jesus" and did such a great job! It was one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. We love having Kate in our family and are proud of the good example she is setting for her younger sisters. She is so caring and tender hearted and wants to be friends with everyone. We love you, Kate!
After her baptism we had family over for Kate's favorite soup and birthday cake. Our sweet neighbor, Jan, gave Kate the cute fairy garden below. Kate loved having her cousins and family around. It was a great day!
