around our house

after a few--somewhat rough--weeks of adjusting, our little kate is back to her old self! A little description of the pictures above from left to right:

around our house you will find...

Kate playing with her dolls. A lot. She's got 5 of them in the wagon, all covered up with a blanket, ready to take a nap. She dresses them, feeds them, rocks them, and loves them. Her favorite is her "live doll" Gwen, who gets lots of attention from her big sister. Yes, her dress is on backwards. No, I did not dress her!

Lots of hiding going on. Behind the couch, in the back of my closet or maybe under her play sink? Anyone seen Kate?

Naked babies. If Kate had things her way, I think she would be naked all the time. She loves it. She runs around the house singing Dora, jumps in her crib and likes to look in the mirror. She can take her clothes off in the time it takes me to grab my purse and turn around. No wonder it takes us an hour to get out of the house!

Pacifier stealing. Kate never took a pacifier. But now that Gwen does she's fascinated with them!
And of course you will find Gwen around our house. And Kate telling me every few minutes, "She's so cute. She's so little." Yes, I know. I hope she stays that way for a while! What was it like before she was here? I really can't remember.
