The Disney parade. Paul came home a little early from work and we took the girls to Disneyland for the evening to see the new parade. The girls were mesmerized--I haven't seen Gwen hold that still since before she could walk! They loved it. And check out the picture of the Mickey tennis shoes. Those were my favorite part.
Kate's garden experiments. Her Sunbeam teacher at church gave her a flower seed and she took very good care of it and it sprouted and then grew to a flower. She was so excited about it and a little sad when her baby sister pulled off all the petals--oops.
I was spoiled with a quick getaway to Palm Springs with my mom. It was so relaxing and fun to spend time with her. Paul was sweet to help make it happen.
Tim McGraw! We felt slightly out of place with all the drunk people in the lawn section, but it was a beautiful night with some good friends and good country music!
Lazy Saturdays at the bay. We love it there. The water is calm, the walk from the car to the sand is short (with all the gear in tow) and the girls play happily for hours. We will be here again!
Trips to yogurtland. This is becoming a Friday night tradition in our family as we all love frozen yogurt and the girls love the little turtle on the patio.
Flying kites at the beach. We love summer!
